Who: Hi! My name is Nash and I’m an expert dabbler in the written word. I blog about what I read here but for everything else there’s my personal space.
What: It’s a book blog! This is my take on the reading life and the gems I find every now and then.
Where: Online of course. In this Cyberverse where I’ve imagined myself writing alongside those who, like me, love to read.
When: Before it’s too late. Ideas have such a finite existence in my head. They’re here one moment and gone the next.
Why: Now here’s where it gets a wee bit complicated. I’ve been reading for most of my life but only recently have I discovered that I’m at a peak–reading more than I ever thought I would. Life as a grad student does this and so does the teaching life. The need to be updated is important and as you do this, things just get more and more interesting. I’m reading a million things at once and sometimes even moments with others become opportunities to read—but the long and short of it is really, why not? I read so I want to write. I am reading and I will write.
